Welcome back to the library I’m the Bookkeeper and I have a little bit of news for you today. Two large anime outlets have merged to provide anime lovers with more content in one place. While on one hand, you don’t have to have two subscriptions to watch your favorite shows, we run into a problem that I’ve been constantly monitoring for many years now and that is western control of anime.

What Does Japan Think?
One could say, Japan doesn’t care about what the USA thinks of their controversial content such as Shield Hero. But keep in mind if Japan finds doing business with Crunchyroll and the like to be highly successful as long as they “tone down” the lewd and “tone up” the catering of certain western social/political groups, we will definitely see a repeat of what’s happening to superheroes and comics.
